Molecova intersection is a complicated traffic junction. It is a spot where a dual roads from Karlova Ves and Dlhé diely district in Bratislava get together, a place where trolleybuses, busses and trams stop. Especially during the morning and afternoon rush hour, this area is very busy. Pedestrians who transfer between public transport stops must pass through the intersection, the green traffic light is too short, so they often run across the road between the cars to catch a pubic transport service.
Therefore I decided to respond to this situation and I used red figure from the traffic light that people ignore as a sign and a warning. To make it more visible and real looking I did it the size of a man. The puppet was wearing a very direct and brutal message "Do you want to live or catch public transport?". Ii was installed on different locations within the intersection and in the field of vision of people waiting on the footpath, but people nonetheless went red.
