Janice Beck is a graphic designer based in Switzerland, currently completing her master’s thesis at the Basle School of Design. Her practice focuses on the subversive and critical potential of graphic design, exploring unlearning and hacking as creative strategies. She is particularly interested in applied design contexts, seeking to integrate investigative methods into commissioned work. Her approach treats graphic design not only as a means of communication but as a mode of research—questioning, applying, and unlearning simultaneously to explore alternative roles for the designer today.
